Just so you know that you didn’t fail at CBT. CBT follows a script, peoples lives don’t follow scripts. We are all different. No two people are the same.
The truth about CBT
CBT failed you not the other way round. CBT was created in the 1950’s so its hardly relevant today. CBT is a script based therapy that means every client is treated the same. If only that was the case. The CBT therapist is literally reading from a script. So many of my clients tell me that while it helped at the time it totally unsustainable.
Every client I see is unique. That’s how I treat them. I treat the person. Every one is unique. Therapy with me is a journey into self discovery.
